A Godot Padawan
I'm a hobbyist programmer for over 25 years, but a Godot apprentice. Currently, learning from the official documents and community, and sharing my updates and experiences through creating tutorials by blogging; it's a great way to learn and, of course, making games and apps. Let's learn Godot together and step-up our skills in this field.
Hi! I'm Emman Lijesta, an electronics engineer by profession doing online freelancing from Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. I like to write, paint, animate, compose music and most especially, programming for web and apps—proficient in Javascript, Node.js, ElectronJS, Apache Cordova, HTML5 and CSS3. I've also tried other programming languages, but have decided to stick with the ones above.
As you can see, my skills has been tailored towards game development throughout my freelancing career. After discovering Godot game engine, I finally decided to pursue game development—it's about time!
There are many awesome 2D and 3D game engines out there that you might prefer, but I find Godot a perfect match for me; it's easy to learn, very lightweight, well supported, open source and royalty free, and more time for creative development than hardcore coding, productivity.
Hopefully, later on I'll be able to publish games for web and desktops, and in Google Android, Amazon, Windows and other alternative app stores.
